Affinity Scholarship Program

Affinity Scholarship Program

Application available Friday, March 2, 2020

Committed to strengthening the communities we serve, the Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation takes pride in helping members succeed with their educational goals through our Scholarship Program.

This year we are excited to announce that the Affinity Foundation will be awarding 11 individuals with $1,000 scholarships.

    • The Robert L. Birkhahn Community Spirit Scholarship is dedicated to our late Affinity Executive Vice President Robert L. Birkhahn. Bob exemplified everything that this award upholds, and it is a fitting tribute to keep his memory alive within Affinity. This scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree.
    • The Richard A. Romano Rutgers Scholarship is in honor of Richard A. Romano for his outstanding contributions and unwavering dedication throughout his many years of volunteer service on the Affinity Federal Credit Union Board of Directors. This scholarship is awarded to students pursuing an undergraduate degree at Rutgers University this fall.
    • The Affinity Continuing Education Scholarship is for students continuing their pursuit of higher education. Affinity and the Affinity Foundation recognize the hardship of completing a degree program in the later, most critical years of an undergraduate degree. For this reason we are proud to offer this scholarship to help the students fulfill their academic goals.
    • The Sr. Carmel McEneany Dominican College Scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman/transfer or continuing full-time student attending Dominican College. This scholarship is in honor of Sr. McEneany who provided dedicated service in helping students to achieve their educational goals.

Application will be accepted from Monday, March 2, 2020. Please click here to apply.
