Important Security Reminder for Existing Members

As part of our ongoing commitment to protecting your accounts and personal information, we want to remind you of how your online banking credentials should be used and safeguarded. Please review the information below carefully, as it outlines your responsibilities and rights related to electronic fund transfers and third-party services.

  • Security of Access Credentials
    Your online banking credentials, including but not limited to your username, password, PIN, and one-time passcodes, are security information used to verify your identity and authorize electronic fund transfers. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of this information. Giving this information to anyone else, including third party apps or services, puts your account at risk of unauthorized transfers.
  • Use of Third Party Services
    Some third party websites, apps, or services may request your online banking username, password, or one-time passcodes to “link” your account. These entities are not affiliated with us, and providing your credentials may allow them to access your account and initiate transfers.
  • Effect on Error Resolution
    Under Regulation E, a transfer may be considered authorized if you provide your credentials to another person or service and they use those credentials to access your account. In certain instances, this may affect our ability to recover funds or resolve a claim in your favor if a third party initiates a transfer using information you provided to them.
  • Your Regulation E Rights
    You retain all rights provided under Regulation E if you notice a transfer, you did not authorize. You must notify us within 2 business days of the loss or theft of your access device, to minimize your liability.

To help protect your accounts, we recommend that you never share your online banking credentials with anyone and use caution when connecting your account to third-party apps or services.
