Meet the Team Behind the Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation

Judi Meighan: Affinity Foundation Director
Judi Meighan has over 25 years of fundraising experience, and has held positions at organizations such as the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills and The Willow School. At Affinity, Judi will use her passion for philanthropic related causes by overseeing all of its fundraising events, grant programs, and donor relations. Giving back is very close to Judi’s heart. In her spare time, she is an active volunteer at Somerset Hills Learning Institute, a school for children and young adults with autism. Judi is also a Trustee for Plaid House, a group home for girls in the foster system in Morristown, NJ. Not only does Judi give back to her communities, but she gives back to her team as well! She is an avid gardener and often brings in baskets of freshly picked vegetables to work for all to enjoy. Judi graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Computer Information Systems. She lives in Bridgewater with her son and two big dogs, Leonard and Larry.

Grant Gallagher
Financial Literacy Proponent, Credit Union Advocate, & Beer Enthusiast. Grant Gallagher has been part of the credit union industry and an employee of Affinity Federal Credit Union since 2009. Starting in Affinity's Member Service Center, Grant has been part of Affinity's External Affairs & Financial Education team since 2012. As Financial Education Manager he is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and volunteer management of the Credit Union's Financial Education & wellness programs, as well as the Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation’s student member scholarship programs. He also manages the Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation's philanthropy, fundraising, and community activism. Grant currently serves as the Secretary of the board for the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education and a member of Vision and Pathway’s advisory committee. A graduate of Hofstra University with a bachelor's degree in International Business, Grant shares his home in Flanders, NJ with his wife, Katie and dog, Pixel. In his free time he likes to run, play video games, tinker with gadgets, golf, and brew beer.

Erin Witherspoon
Avid snowboarder, traveler, and Jeep-waving philanthropist, Erin Witherspoon has been with the Foundation since 2016. She is responsible for coordinating the Foundation’s various fundraising events and developing the marketing components to support those Foundation events. Erin is a member of Affinity’s Scholarship Committee and organizes employee fundraising efforts with the Employee Community Impact Committee, which supports select non-profit organizations outside the scope of the Foundation’s focus areas. Additionally, Erin manages the credit union’s employee volunteerism program, which provides employee volunteers with additional paid time off throughout the year. Erin graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Concentration in Marketing, and holds membership in the National Service Fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. Erin resides in West Milford with her family and rescue dog, Alex.

Oscar Cordoba
Oscar Cordoba joined the External Affairs team in January 2018.  He has been part of the financial industry for the last 20 years and part of the Affinity Federal Credit Union family for the last 5 years.  He brings a vast amount of knowledge to his role as he currently holds an NMLS registration as well as Series 6, 63, Life and Health securities licenses obtained as through his years of experience.  He is currently responsible for the development and implementation of the Credit Union’s Financial Education & Literacy program being delivered to the communities Affinity Federal Credit Union serves in both English and Spanish.  Oscar graduated from Raritan Valley Community College with a degree on Business Administration and Finance and currently lives in North Plainfield with his wife Carolina and his children.
