Affinity Foundation Scholarship Program

Affinity Foundation Scholarship Program

Our Foundation takes pride in helping our members succeed with their educational goals through the Annual Scholarship Program. Over the last decade, our Foundation has provided over $100k in scholarships for our members, supporting their pursuit of higher education. This year, our Foundation will award four members each with a $2,500 scholarship.

Scholarships

Members are invited to apply for the following scholarships:

The Robert L. Birkhahn Community Spirit Scholarship is dedicated to Affinity’s late Executive Vice President, Robert “Bob” L. Birkhahn. Bob exemplified everything this award upholds, and it is a fitting tribute to keep his memory alive within Affinity. This scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree in the fall.

The Richard A. Romano Rutgers Scholarship is in honor of Richard A. Romano for his outstanding contributions and unwavering dedication throughout his many years of volunteer service on the Affinity Federal Credit Union Board of Directors. This scholarship is awarded to students pursuing an undergraduate degree at Rutgers University this fall.

The Affinity Continuing Education Scholarship is for students continuing their pursuit of higher education. Affinity and the Affinity Foundation recognize the hardship of completing a degree program in the later, most critical years of an undergraduate degree. For this reason we are proud to offer this scholarship to help the students fulfill their academic goals.

Raritan Valley Community College Scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman/transfer or continuing full-time student attending Raritan Valley Community College.
