Affinity Federal Credit Union Employees Unite to Serve Local Communities

October 21, 2024
On October 14, 2024, Affinity Federal Credit Union celebrated its third annual Impact Day, a dedicated event that brings employees together for a day of hands-on community service across New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. With branch locations closed for the day, Affinity team members began with a live town hall, gathering at their host branches to kick off Impact Day with shared goals and a commitment to community wellbeing. From there, employees connected with and supported the communities they serve year-round, addressing local needs and fostering positive change across the region.
This year, over 320 employees dedicated their time, contributing 1,000 volunteer hours to support a diverse range of causes, including food security, environmental cleanups, youth education, and animal advocacy. From Middletown, NJ, to Rockland County, NY, and eastward to New Haven, CT, the Affinity team was on the ground, providing support where it was needed most.
