What is Debit Card Round Up?

Debit Card Round Up is a savings program where transactions made with your Affinity Visa® debit card are rounded up to the nearest dollar, and the difference is transferred from your checking account to the Affinity savings account you designate.

How do I enroll in Debit Card Round Up?

Complete the enrollment form in the Request Center of Online Banking or the Mobile Banking App. Please note that only the primary account owner is allowed to enroll in Debit Card Round Up.

What accounts are eligible for Debit Card Round Up?

To participate in Debit Card Round Up, you will need an Affinity checking account and debit card, as well as an Affinity savings account.

Certificates, IRAs, ESAs, HSAs, and business accounts are not eligible.

After I enroll, how long will it take for me to notice the savings?

After we receive your completed enrollment form, it will take one business day to be processed. After your enrollment is processed, the round ups will begin.

How often are transfers made to my designated savings account?

The transfer to your savings account is made once a day at the start of each processing day and will equal the round up amount accumulated from the previous day’s transactions. If you do not have sufficient funds available, the transfer will not occur.

Processing days are Tuesday through Sunday, excluding federal holidays. For transactions made on federal holidays, the deposit will take place on the next processing day we are open.

If I have a joint account, is the joint owner able to participate?

Yes. When the primary account owner enrolls in the program, all debit cards tied to the enrolled checking account will participate in the program. Individual debit cards cannot be enrolled or removed.

Am I able to unenroll from Debit Card Round Up?

Yes. To unenroll, complete the unenrollment form in the Request Center of Online Banking or the Mobile Banking App. Only the primary account owner can unenroll.
