Giving Since 2005
The Affinity Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable foundation established in 2005 to support charities in communities along the Affinity Federal Credit Union branch footprint. The Affinity Foundation is a separate, independent legal entity, incorporated in New Jersey and operated by Affinity Federal Credit Union employees.
Our mission is to help vulnerable populations thrive towards financial independence. We fulfill our mission by:
- Empowering individuals by delivering free financial education
- Investing grant-making dollars in grassroots organizations
- Connecting charities with skilled volunteers to elevate their impact
- Strengthening communities by providing the helping hand many don’t have
To sustain our programs, the Affinity Foundation hosts three annual fundraising events, including a golf invitational, casino night, and beer-tasting event to benefit military veterans.
In addition, the Foundation team coordinates volunteer opportunities for Affinity Federal Credit Union employees and members with our non-profit partners, including America’s Grow-a-Row, Interfaith Food Pantry, Pioneer Family Success Center, and more.
