What does cash back mean on a debit card?

Cash back means that every time you pay for something with your debit card, a portion of that purchase is refunded to the account the card is connected to. With the Affinity Cash Back Debit Card, that refund (or reward) equals 1% of the transaction. Say, for example, you use it to purchase a new jacket that costs $237. Just after the $237 is debited from your account, 1% of that $2.37 is automatically credited back to your account. Note that there is no cash back reward when using the card to withdraw cash from your account at an ATM.
